If you are housebound or too ill to
come to the surgery and genuinely
need a home visit, please telephone
before 11.00am so that the doctors
can plan their calls.
Home visits
are normally undertaken at anytime
between midday and 3.00pm and you
should not expect the doctor to
arrive immediately following the end
of the morning surgery.
Please only
request visits if absolutely
necessary as the doctor can see
three patients in surgery in the
same time taken to do one home
visit. The doctor also has better
conditions and facilities for
sorting out your problem at the
surgery. Home visits are not
available to assist with problems of
transport to the surgery.
