Training Within
the Practice
The practice undertakes the training
of qualified doctors, called GP
Registrars, who intend to enter
general practice. After their
hospital training doctors are now
required to spend a twelve month
period of further training within a
recognised training practice. The
doctors are fully qualified and able
to work unsupervised; the practice
greatly benefits from their time
spent with us.
On occasions the practice may have
medical students attached who are
undergoing a general practice
placement as part of their
curriculum. You will always be
informed of the presence of a
student in with your doctor. If you
find this unacceptable, please say
so.
